Hydro Plant Sdn. Bhd. is a growing biotechnology startup focusing on the production of microbial-based formulations for agricultural, industrial and environmental applications. Founded by individuals passionate about microbial science and sustainability, Hydro Plant stands at the intersection of nature and innovation, driven by a mission in advancing agricultural productivity, restore environment naturally and empower industrial sustainability. Our flagship technology, Microbial Consortium Root Enhancer (MICORA) has proven in improving the nutrient uptake by plant and contribute to the soil fertility. It promotes a more sustainable agriculture practices due to the reduce dependency on chemical inputs.
Our operations span two core facilities: a research and production lab in Klang, Selangor, and a dedicated expansion site in Tawau, Sabah. These sites serve as the backbone for our microbial fermentation activities, enabling us to scale up MICORA production while maintaining consistency, quality, and scientific integrity.
Operating under the slogan “Harmonizing with Nature,” we believe in developing bio-based solutions that align with ecological principles. Our MICORA formulations harness beneficial microbes that naturally promote root development, increase nutrient uptake, and boost plant resilience—reducing the need for synthetic inputs and supporting long-term soil health.
Looking ahead, we aim to expand our R&D efforts into industrial biotechnology and environmental bioremediation, driving impactful innovations that align with global sustainability goals and the transition toward a circular bioeconomy.
